Illinois couldn't quite pull it off, but it was a good game and a really good tournament this year. So Marc Champagne won our little bracket contest AGAIN! I came in eighth, but I enjoyed the games. Marc says that he won't participate next year, because it ruins the games for him - that he would enjoy cheering the Cinderella teams on if he wasn't cheering for the teams he picked. I understand what he's saying, but I still love to fill out the brackets.
They threw a big birthday party for me at work today, since I wasn't at work on my birthday. It was really sweet of them and brightened up my day! I got all the checks written today and am mostly caught up on the work I missed over the last two weeks. My seedlings are doing great, and I can't wait for my day off tomorrow to work in the garden. It got up to 78 today! Heard from my sister - she is really struggling with Daddy's death. I wish there was something I could say to help her - but everyone has to work through grief in their own way. I'll just keep praying for God to bring her comfort.
