Great News!

The PET scan was normal! So now I will see a lung specialist and have him review the tests, results and find out what he would advise me to do next. The GP said he would assume it was some kind of infection and repeat the CT scan monthly to watch the nodule. I will feel better to get a pulmonologist's advice. That appointment will not be until July 20th - the first available appt to a new patient with my type of symptoms. I've already been on antibiotics for 10 days - so I guess that should cover a basic infection. I will also consult with my GP next week (he's on vacation this week - so the nurse called me with the results, but couldn't answer any of my questions) and go over the scan in more detail.
